Regional Ambassadors

What is a Michael G. Foster School of Business Regional Ambassador?

A Foster School of Business Regional Ambassador is a volunteer who serves as a contact for a geographic region.  Regional Ambassadors help the Foster School to connect alumni to each other and the School.  Regional Ambassadors are encouraged to organize at least one activity per year for alumni in their constituencies. There is no expectation that the Foster School or alumni association (UWAA) will financially support the constituency or its activities.

Requirements:

To become a Foster School of Business Regional Ambassador you must be an alumnus of the Foster School and agree to maintain the confidentiality of alumni data.

Resources

Regional Ambassadors will receive the following benefits:

  • Presence on the Foster School Alumni Web site
  • Roster of alumni for your constituency
  • Consultation regarding event planning
  • Production and sending of email invite for planned events
  • Party package that includes: purple cocktail napkins, banner, purple and gold balloons, branded giveaways (e.g. key chains, decals).
  • Newsletters and other periodic information from the Foster School and UWAA

         
Steps to becoming a Regional Representative:

  • Submit letter of interest and commitment to supporting the mission of the Foster School alumni relations program.
  • Sign volunteer access form indicating commitment to protect alumni information
  • Submit information to be listed on the Foster School web site
