Consulting Internships
BEDC offers Michael G. Foster School of Business students the opportunity to become involved in consulting projects through a 4 credit course (MKTG 445) offered every Winter quarter. Internships involve accounting, financial management, database and web development, business plan writing and market research.
Students pair with Foster School of Business alumni and corporate mentors from the Seattle Rotary Club to work as consultants to small businesses in Seattle’s emerging communities. Advisors and mentors, who represent companies like Amazon.com, Microsoft Corporation, Safeco Insurance, and the Seattle Times, provide industry expertise and professional guidance to students and serve as connections to the corporate community.
