Autumn 2007 CFO Forum Meeting
Wednesday, October 31, 2007, 7:30-9:30 a.m.
"Managing for Financial Flexibility "
The past few months have reminded us that the markets can change very quickly and financing sources can dry-up, potentially leaving a company in a liquidity crunch. A CFO needs to have his or her company positioned to weather such a market storm even when things look good—as they did just four months ago.
Helping us explore these issues are:
* Georganne Proctor, EVP and CFO of TIAA-CREF who will offer insignts from her experience at both private and public companies and in tight and accommodating capital markets
* Jim Johnson, Director for KeyBanc Capital Markets, along with his Associate Larsen Mettler, will present bank and public/private debt and equity market updates and will discuss strategies to take advantage of inexpensive financing when it is available as well as alternatives facing companies in today's climate
