The Global Business Center’s mission is to build students’ global business expertise.  With this goal in mind, the center offers two programs to Doctoral students at the Foster School of Business. Through our federally-funded CIBER grant and corporate sponsorships, we are able to provide all students a premier group of programs that takes their studies beyond the classroom and out across the globe.

Doctoral Program & Resource Offerings

Doctoral Internationalization Consortia - The purpose of these consortia is to provide doctoral students in all functional areas of business an international perspective regarding the major issues and research questions that are related to their disciplines. The consortia will bring doctoral students together with prominent faculty whose traditional areas or research have not been international in scope, but who have recently internationalized their work.

Summer Fellowships - As part of the Global Business Center's efforts to support and encourage research on international topics, every summer the GBC awards one fellowship to doctoral students.
