EntrepreneurWeek UW November 3 - 7, 2008

Entrepreneurs have a determination to succeed, tremendous initiative and energy, perseverance in the face of challenge, a capacity for observation, confidence, an understanding of the value of money, and an ability to thrive on ambiguity. Does this describe your personality? If so, come hear more at a week of entrepreneurial events, speakers, and networking. Attend everything or select a la carte!

Environmental Innovation Challenge

The University of Washington is launching a competition in which interdisciplinary student teams work collaboratively to develop solutions to a new Environmental Innovation Challenge (EIC), a specific problem of environmental significance. For 2008-09, the challenge theme will be water, and teams will have roughly six months to work through the idea formation, technological development, and the market analysis and business planning. Stay tuned for more information!
