The University of Washington is launching a competition in which interdisciplinary student teams work collaboratively to develop solutions to a new
Environmental Innovation Challenge (EIC), a specific problem of environmental significance. For 2008-09, the challenge theme will be
water, and teams will have roughly six months to work through the idea formation, technological development, and the market analysis
