MARKETING

The marketing curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in a wide spectrum of industries and organizations. The coursework emphasizes the planning and implementation of strategies to research markets, develop products, determine prices, establish distribution systems, communicate to customers, and evaluate the performance of these activities.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

With increased globalization, international business with its effects worldwide strives to understand how economic, cultural, and political forces shape patterns of international trade, investment, and financing including how the functional areas of business--accounting, finance, marketing--operate on an international plane.

The international business curriculum prepares students for careers in exporting and importing firms, international banks, and other multinational business enterprises, as well as government agencies and other international organizations.
