W. Thomas Porter, Ph.D.
Chairman of Porter Investments LLC.

W. Thomas Porter is Chairman of Porter Investments LLC. Porter was a pioneer in the field of financial planning establishing a national practice at Touche Ross in the 1970’s. He recently retired as an Executive Vice President of Bank of America where he was responsible for the Capital Management Group which included investment banking, investment management, retail investments, and financial planning services. He is a part-time lecturer on financial planning at the Foster School of Business. He has written several books on financial planning that have sold over 400,000 copies and presented seminars for over 15,000 executives and professionals.
