Year in School: Senior
Kristen will graduate this spring with a degree in Finance and a
Certificate in International Studies in Business (CISB). She spent the last two
summers in New York City and hopes to move there this fall to work in banking.
Besides GBCC, Kristen is involved as the President of the French Track for CISB
and is on the local Academy of Finance advisory board. She loves case
competitions, learning languages, baking, and traveling and and is passionate
about financial education.

Year in School: Junior
Shirin is in her second year at the Michael G. Foster School of business. She is majoring in Accounting and pursuing her Certificate of International Studies in Business with a focus on the Spanish language. In addition to attending school, she is a black belt martial artist and has competed in tournaments around the world. In her spare time, she likes to paint, dance, and spend time with her family. Shirin plans to finish her schooling by graduating from law school. |

Activities Manager
Leslie Rondeau is a senior in the Foster School of Business, with a focus on
Marketing. She loves to run, to walk around Green Lake, and to explore the
beautiful NW. Interested in environmental issues and international studies,
she has a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures. Upon
graduation she intends to stick around Seattle to save up before taking off
on her next adventure (destination is yet to be determined). |

Tommy Ye is currently a senior studying Finance and International Business and upon graduation, he looks to launch a career in Corporate Finance. Tommy enjoys basketball and rightfully so, has owning a professional basketball team be one of his many goals in life. In his spare time, Tommy enjoys traveling and cooking and is most known for being extremely superstitious. |

Evgenia Polyakova was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She is a senior majoring in business administration with a focus in entrepreneurship and CISB at Foster School of Business and minoring in international relations at Jackson School of International Relations. After graduation, she wants to start a business career in the fashion industry. Her prior experience with fashion includes an internship with Eddie Bauer. |

Monica Trantow is a graduating senior with a BA in Business Administration
with an emphasis in marketing, as well as a Certificate of International Studies in
Business. She is very interested in International Relations, as well as the
creative opportunities available in business. Aside from various leadership
roles at the UW, Monica enjoys spending time with her sorority sisters,
playing outside, and living the life of a student! |

Olivia Miasik is in her third year at the business school at the University of Washington. She is pursuing an Accounting degree with a Certificate of International Studies in Business focusing on Spain. She hopes to work as a consultant in her career and eventually move to Poland where her family lives. |

Born and raised in Vientiane, Laos, *Xayachuck "Toan" Viradet* is a senior double majoring in finance and economics. He is actively involved with leadership and campus activities which include the Laotian Student Association, UW Leaders, Undergraduate Business Council, Mary Gates Scholars, and Associated Students of the University of Washington Senate. |

Faculty Relations Manager
Dinara Abilova is an international student from Kazakhstan and a junior at the UW Foster Business school with a concentration in marketing. She is interested in people and understanding what makes them tick and is excited for big events like GBCC, because they are smart ideas and there are smart ways to execute them. In her free time, she is fond of alpine skiing and modern dance. |

Pitichoke "Daniel" Chulapamornsri is an international student from Thailand. He is a first year student at the University of Washington. He enjoys classical music, cooking, and running. He is actively involved with leadership and campus activities which include the Thai Student Association, Hall Council, and Adventist Christian Fellowship. |

Yi Shan “Samantha” Chiang was born and raised in Taiwan. She was an exchange student in Florida, and she is a graduating senior majoring in Information Systems and Certificate of International Studies in Business. She enjoys traveling, making friends, and learning different cultures and languages. She wants to find a consulting job in the US after graduation, and her dream is traveling around the world. |

The Global Business Case Competition is coming! Are you interested in making the tenth year anniversary of competition the best one yet? Would you like to mingle with international business students, receive a free GBCC T-shirt, and enjoy a free catered lunch? If so, sign up to become a volunteer for the GBCC competition day on Saturday, April 12, 2008!
You can volunteer to be a timekeeper, announcer, door monitor or usher during the competition, or help out with lunch and setting up.
