• For 2008, Business Week ranked the Foster School of Business Undergraduate Program 11th among public institutions, 33rd among all national business schools, and 5th for student return on investment.

Faculty and Research Achievements

• According to the 2008 index of research productivity, the Foster School of Business has the nation's 10th most prolific faculty in business administration and was ranked 2nd in the number of times that researchers from other universities cited the research of Foster School faculty between 2003 and 2006.
• The Top 100 Business School Research Rankings, published by the School of Management at the University of Texas in Dallas, ranks the Foster School of Business 21st for research contributions made between 2002 and 2006.
• The Financial Accounting Standards Board named Foster School of Business's Accounting Professor Shiva Rajgopal and Assistant Professor of Accounting Frank Hodge to its new seven-member Financial Accounting Standards Research Initiative.
• Foster School of Business co-hosted the inaugural (2006) and second annual (2007) Seattle Innovation Symposium, bringing together more than 100 multidisciplinary researchers and IT industry leaders for an unprecedented collaboration in emerging technology innovation.

Specialty Accolades

• Foster School of Business's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship graduate program ranked fifth best in the nation by Entrepreneur magazine and the Princeton Review in 2006.
• Foster School of Business's Global Business Center is the only Pacific Northwest program (and one of 31 university programs nationwide), designated a U.S. Department of Education Center for International Business Education and Research which serves as regional and national resource to business, faculty, and students on American competitiveness in global markets.
• The Certificate of International Studies in Business won the 2004 Brotman Award for Instructional Excellence.
