All computers in the Business School are protected by McAfee VirusScan 7 and have its "AutoUpdate" feature enabled. This provides Business School PCs with a reasonable level of virus immunity. VirusScan, is not, however, a "silver bullet": viruses may begin transmission during a business day, after McAfee's daily update has already been applied. For that reason, caution, especially with unexpected e-mail attachments, is always advised.

In addition to office computers, the university's site license for McAfee covers the home computers of faculty and staff, and students.
