  • Construction of a new UW Business School complex will begin in 2008. The new facilities will advance the next generation of business education, adding 500 more classroom seats and 28 team meeting rooms.
  • Retooling of the UW MBA curriculum to require student consulting projects, global business, and extensive leadership experiences.
  • School-wide focus on strategic thinking, interdisciplinary leadership, team collaboration and problem solving in dynamic environments.
  • Hiring of 25 up-and-coming faculty members, many with combined business, teaching and research backgrounds.
  • Continued emphasis on building relationships with national recruiters and responding quickly to the demands of MBA employers.

Strong alumni connections Founded in 1917, the UW Business School is the second oldest management education institution on the West Coast. International accreditation The UW Business School is accredited by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, and is one of only two business schools in the U.S. to hold EQUIS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development.
