ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
Spring 2007 Add Deadline
The last day to add a class for spring quarter is this week. You will incur a $20 late add fee. This add deadline is for all classes in spring quarter—even those that haven’t started yet.
- Evening and GMBA Students: Friday, April 13 by noon. All requests should be sent to mbaregis.
- Full-time Program: Sunday April 15 midnight via MyUW. If you need the assistance of the MBA Programs Office or UW Registrar's Office, your deadline is Friday, April 13 by noon.
Full-time Class of 2008: Elective Registration Brown Bags
Elective bidding process: For those of you unable to attend one of the general elective bidding brown bag sessions, a copy of the Registration Handbook was put in your MBA mailbox on Friday. The information is also posted on the MBA Elective Registration website.

Spring Quarter Graduation
If you are completing your degree this quarter, there are two online forms you need to complete. Visit the graduation web page for more details.
- Official Graduation Application: Priority application deadline is May 13
- Business School Graduation Participation Ceremony: Deadline is April 15. This survey is to let us know if you will participate in the MBA Graduation Ceremony. Initially we can only promise each student 4 guest tickets, but hope to have extra tickets to allocate to those who need them. If you do not complete the survey by the deadline, we will assume you do not need any tickets and/or do not intend to participate in our graduation ceremony and will allocate your guest tickets to other students.

BUSINESS SCHOOL EVENTS
- USA Today CEO Forum Featuring Steve Ballmer
On Thursday, April 19, the UW Business School will host a group;of USA Today writers from around the country along with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a public interview that will become a full-page story in the paper. The event is in Kane Hall Room 130 and the doors open at 5:30pm. RSVPs are requested.

SCHOLARSHIPS, FELLOWSHIPS AND GRANTS
- Aguilar Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a UW graduate student in Business who is of Latin American Heritage and is a US citizen or permanent resident of the United States. The application is open to MBA students in the Full-time, evening, Technology Management MBA and Executive MBA programs. Application deadline is April 16. If you have questions about the scholarship, ask this year's recipient Vanessa Brewster.
- Full-time Class of 2008 2007-08 MBA Scholarship Application priority deadline is April 16. If you have questions about scholarships, email mbaschol. (Please note: 2006-07 scholarships are not automatically renewed, and you need to reapply for 2007-08 funds.)
- Seattle Society of Financial Analysts Scholarship
Application is due April 11. Once scholarship is awarded to a UW MBA Student in the Full-time program. If you have questions about the scholarship, ask this year's recipient Steve Center.

FULL-TIME MBA PROGRAM ADMIT WEEKEND: APRIL 12-14
This Thursday admitted students are on campus for Admit Weekend (formally Preview Weekend). This time on campus gives admitted students a chance to learn more about the program, meet future classmates and get a better feel for the program. The students are on campus Thursday night and all day Friday. Please welcome any new faces and be ready to answer a lot of questions.
We are looking for volunteers to greet and mingle with admitted students at breakfast (8:30am) and lunch (12:30pm) on Friday. If you are interested please contact Brooke Wells.
