EVENING MBA DINNER: JANUARY 14th

Evening students: Please join us before class this Wednesday, January 14th, in the Undergraduate Commons (on the first floor of Balmer) for this quarter's first Evening MBA Dinner from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  This dinner takes place during the program's Campus Visit Night for prospective Evening MBA Students.  This is a great opportunity to share your experience in the program with prospective students.  We look forward to seeing you there.

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dropping, Adding, and Withdrawing from Courses
From Monday, January 12 through Sunday, January 18 you may still add (provided you have obtained an add code from the course instructor) and/or drop courses without restriction. Please note that you will incur a $20 fee for all registration changes made on a single day during this period. A tuition forfeiture may also be charged.

  • Evening students: Your add/drop requests need to be to the MBA Program Office by Noon on Friday, January 16 so that they may be processed before the deadline.
  • Note: This deadline is for ALL winter quarter classes, even those that have not yet started.

A Note Regarding Autumn Quarter Grades
If one of your class grades for Autumn quarter is listed as "X", that means the grade has not been turned in to the UW by the instructor. Please contact your instructor directly for resolution.

Winter Quarter Graduation
If you intend to complete your degree requirements in winter quarter, you need to apply for graduation with the UW Graduate School by March 13. If you wish to check the requirements that remain for you to complete your degree, please email mbaregis and we will do a degree check.

MBA Graduation Ceremony 2009
The graduation ceremony for full-time and evening MBA students is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 7:00pm. For those of you who will be graduating in winter or spring quarter 2009, please become familiar with the graduation information on the MBA website. This webpage supplies details regarding applying for graduation, the graduation ceremony, academic attire, graduation tickets, and diplomas. Note for International students: If you have family members who wish to attend the graduation ceremony and need letters to support their visa application, please contact Linda Bruen.

Available space in URBDP 498A Environmental Planning Course for Winter Quarter
Looking for another elective course for Winter quarter? There is still room in URBDP 498A Environmental Planning (SLN 18862) which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-9:50am. 2009 Bullitt Environmental Fellowship Call for Applications
