ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS

Winter Quarter Registration Deadlines

  • Dropping Classes: Today, Tuesday, February 16, is the last day to drop classes for winter quarter. After today, you will need to use your annual drop in order to withdraw from a winter quarter class. You will be charged a $20 late drop fee and a possible tuition forfeiture.
  • Adding Classes: Last day to add a winter quarter course is January 22. You will be charged a $20 late add fee.

Fulltime Core Schedule Changes for January 25 and 26

On January 25th, Gary Wipfler, VP and Treasurer of Apple, will speak to all fulltime core students from 9-10am in the Douglas Forum. To accommodate this presentation, the session of Finance that was scheduled for Section B/D at 8:30 has been rescheduled to 3:30 and will be held in Balmer 302.
 
On January 26th, the postponed session of Strategy will be held. The core schedule for that date is as follows:
  • Section A/C: 8:30-10:20 Marketing, BLM 302; 1:30-5:20 Strategy, BLM 303
  • Section B/D: 8:30-12:20 Strategy, BLM 303; 1:30-3:20 Marketing, BLM 413
An updated core schedule has been posted on the Current Student website.  If you have questions about the schedule, please either contact your instructors or Barby Pearson.

Spring Quarter Elective Bidding
Bidding for spring quarter electives begins on January 31. You can find an updated tentative spring quarter schedule of elective of classes here. [Please note: this schedule does not include the Bridge Electives (509 classes) which are not part of the bidding process and will be posted at a later date.]

USF PSI International Business Plan Competition
The USF PSI International Business Plan Competition is one of the World's Premier Graduate University Business Plan Competitions. The 2007 Contest will be held March 28 - 31. All Graduate Students from every nation are invited to submit business plan proposals for participation.
