Spring Quarter Graduation
If you are completing your degree this quarter and plan to graduate in June, you must file for graduation with the University and complete our graduation ceremony participation survey indicated below.
- Official Graduation Application: Priority application deadline is May 18.
- Business School Graduation Ceremony Participation: Deadline is April 15. This survey is to let us know if you will participate in the MBA Graduation Ceremony. This survey will help us to allocate guest tickets for the ceremony and list your name correctly in the Graduation program. If you do not complete the survey by the deadline, we will assume you do not need any tickets and/or do not intend to participate in our graduation ceremony and will allocate your guest tickets to other students.
Summer Health Insurance--Sign up Now!
If you want to ensure that your UW student insurance benefits will be available to you this coming summer, now is the time to sign up! The only ways to ensure you are covered during summer quarter are (1) register for classes during summer OR (2) sign up on MyUW for Annual Insurance by the 7th day of spring quarter. (Note that if you signed up for annual coverage earlier in the year, you will already be covered for summer.) When you sign up for annual insurance, you will be covered until the start of next autumn quarter.
You may want to consider this if you will be working in an internship that doesn't provide benefits or will be taking an extended break before starting a full-time job later in the summer or fall. There have been students in the past who faced serious financial consequences because they did not sign up for insurance and then had significant health issues arise during the summer. For more details about the Student Health Insurance Plan visit their website.

Board Fellows applications and resumes are due April 1, 2008. For those of you who are going on study tour, we encourage you to get them in before you leave. For more information and/or questions, please contact Jerilyn Young at jerilyn@u.washington.edu.
