This scholarship is awarded to a UW graduate student in Business who is of Latin American Heritage and is a US citizen or permanent resident of the United States. The application is open to MBA students in the fulltime, evening, Technology Management MBA and Executive MBA programs. Application deadline is April 16, and the application can be accessed here.

Featured speakers include Stuart Weibel, metadata expert, and representatives from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Biomedical Health and Informatics and the Business School.

Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society) presents UW graduate, Jeff Dowd, to campus to show the film "The Big Lebowski." Jeff Dowd was very politically active while a student here in the 1960's. He is now a film producer and will be on campus next week to show "The Big Lebowski" and speak about culture, political activism and film.
