Recruiting Interns

Every summer, our MBA students participate in internships that help dynamic companies like yours solve their real-world problems. UW MBA interns have conducted extensive market research, developed a worldwide business planning tool, and executed a national marketing campaign, to name a few. From Wall Street to Paris, Silicon Valley to Bangkok, UW MBAs put learning into practice, contributing their hard work and passion for business.

An MBA internship is typically a full-time, paid position lasting 10–12 weeks, beginning in mid-June or early July. Students look for an internship that will both add depth to their resumés through hands-on experience and offer substantial contact with decision-makers. Read about internships from the student perspective.

“My internship experience informs everything that I do in the world of marketing, whether it be engaging in case discussions in the classroom or talking to prospective employers about job opportunities. For example, we spent a lot of time on developing deliverables that were meaningful as well as actionable in our first year. This proved to be useful when delivering recommendations on the various projects that I was assigned.”
