Diversity

The Foster MBA Program is committed to increasing the enrollment of underrepresented minority students and supporting them once enrolled to become the business leaders of tomorrow. The Class of 2008 includes individuals from 19 countries and from 18 states. Thirty-four percent of students came from outside the U.S., and there is a diverse mix of students from different cultures within the United States.

UW Diversity Resources

As a whole, the UW is committed to building a culturally diverse faculty and staff, and strongly encourages student applications from underrepresented minorities.

Business and Economic Development

Many Foster MBAs contribute their knowledge to stimulate business expansion in developing communities through the Foster School's Business and Economic Development Center. From internships and board fellowships to strategic planning and consulting projects, MBAs increase their skills while helping ethnically diverse organizations grow.

“Having a diverse student body and academic staff within the UW MBA Program is essential in order to prepare tomorrow’s leaders for a life in a multi-ethnic, multicultural, and multiracial national and international society.”
