Student Organizations
Most Foster MBA students participate in two or three different organizations. This high level of student involvement, a hallmark of the program, provides a total-immersion experience that takes learning to the next level.
Explores the roles of MBAs in health science and medical technology-based companies, and builds relationships with the local biotech/biomedical community. |

Challenge for Charity |
Supports the Special Olympics and the Boys and Girls Clubs, including sporting events and the annual Challenge for Charity weekend at Stanford University. |
Helps connect companies with student project administrators. Provides networking and speaker events so students can connect with alumni and others in the consulting industry. |

Arranges meetings and events with local entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and others who understand start-up issues, and assists with a campus-wide Business Plan Competition. |

Provides up-to-date information on global business and international issues, international networking and a social setting for whose interested in international business and trade, and intercultural relations. |

Fosters interaction among students, administrators, faculty, and alumni of the UW Business School, and the business community. Sponsors Professor of the Quarter and Professor of the Year awards, as well as numerous social events for students. |

Provides networking opportunities in the finance industry as well as a forum to explore current issues in the field. |

MBA Marketing Club |
Complements core coursework with a speaker series, career workshops, and networking events with marketing professionals in various industries. |
Net Impact |
Committed to integrating sound ethical, social, and environmental practices into corporate strategies, decisions, and management. Participates in an annual nationwide conference on socially responsible business and offers a summer internship program, a national conference, campus speakers, and Community Service Day. |
MBA Operations Management Club |
Exposes MBA students to businesses and careers in the fields of supply-chain management, operations, and logistics. |
Serves an interdisciplinary group of students from across campus who have an interest in real estate or related disciplines. |

Sports Business Club |
We expose MBA students to the business side of professional and collegiate sports through direct interaction with industry professionals. The club will also serve as an ongoing network for students interested in learning more about career opportunities in mainstream or emerging sports industries. Lastly, the club will serve as a social outlet for sports fans. |
| Strategy Club | Foster Strategists are determined to make a mark in the outside world as visionaries and terrific implementers. This club will aid in getting us a step closer to this mission by giving hands on experience to use the concepts taught in the classroom, providing networking opportunities with the strategy leaders in the commercial and academic world, and opening up avenues for future internships and jobs. The events hosted by the club will enrich participants with new strategy concepts and provide potential career choices in this field. |

| Student Quality of Life Club (Part II Club) | This is a student run organization focused on improving the quality of life for Foster School of Business MBA students both within the school and outside of academia. The mission is to better the experience of the Foster MBA student by enhancing their physical and psychological well-being through social and intellectual pursuit. |
