Special Status
Any given MBA class may include students who are admitted via special status. These comprise transfer students and non-degree seeking students.
If you are considering applying as a special status student, please be sure to read Admissions in its entirety. See Apply and Interview for specific application instructions for special status students.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
On a limited basis, an individual who meets specific criteria is eligible to take MBA courses without being admitted as a degree-seeking student. Such individuals are admitted as either visiting graduate students (VGS) or graduate non-matriculated students (GNM). Students who do not meet criteria for the non-degree seeking category should consider courses and programs offered by UW Extension.
Please see Apply and Interview for details on applying on the basis of VGS or GNM status.
