UW Finishes in 8th Place in the 2007 National Collegiate Sales Competition |
The Foster School of Business student team of seniors Lauren Delgado and Joe Trieu competed in the 2007 National Collegiate Sales Competition held at Kennesaw State University near Atlanta , GA. Eighty-eight students from 44 universities competed March 16-17, 2007 in a judged sales role-play where ACT contact management software and UPS shipping services were the products and services sold. As this was only the UW's third year in the competition, we congratulate Lauren and Joe on a fine job and a great finish -- 8th place overall!
This year's team of Sally Nguyen, an Accounting major, and Tim Molitor, a Marketing major, will be heading to Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, GA for the 2008 National Collegiate Sales Competition scheduled for March 14 and 15, 2008. The competition includes 50 universities (undergraduate and graduate), chosen by invitation only, for this competition. Along with competing against other university participants, the student have the opportunity to meet with the corporate sponsors who will also be at the competition. We wish our team all the best.
