The Sales Certificate Program is designed to help you build the foundation for one of the business world’s most challenging and lucrative careers. Businesses are searching for employees who understand and apply ethical sales practices, have skills in relationship selling, knows how to “create” partnerships with their customers, how to manage and add value to large accounts and how to develop new business.

In the 2007 National Collegiate Sales Competition held at Kennesaw State University near Atlanta , GA, The Foster School of Business student team of seniors Lauren Delgado and Joe Trieu competed with eighty-eight students from 44 universities on March 16-17, 2007. As this was only the UW's third year in the competition, we congratulate Lauren and Joe on a fine job and a great 8th place finish.

UW makes it to the quarter finals in the
2008 National Collegiate Sales Competition

This year's team of Sally Nguyen, an Accounting major, and Tim Molitor, a Marketing major, traveled to Kennesaw State University near Atlanta, GA for the 2008 National Collegiate Sales Competition scheduled for March 13-15, 2008. The competition included 50 universities (undergraduate and graduate), chosen by invitation only. Along with competing against other university participants, the student had the opportunity to meet with the corporate sponsors who also attended the competition. We're proud of our UW team who made it to the quarter finals.
