ADVICE FOR FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORES

Students who enter the program in as freshmen or sophomores should take general electives and lower-division business courses before they can move on to upper-division business courses.

General Education Courses
During your first two years at the UW, you should take general education courses that fulfill the "Areas of Knowledge" distribution requirements. English composition, business prerequisites and the 90 non-business credit requirement needed to graduate.

Lower-Division Business Courses
During your sophomore year in the Foster School, you will work on completing your lower-division business courses. These courses should be completed before you take upper-division business courses.

Upper-Division Business Courses
Registration restrictions limit many upper-division business courses to juniors and above, so EAGs and FRAPs may not be able to register for these courses.
